LAHORE (NNI) – Chairman Pakistan Tehrik Insaf Imran Khan Tuesday said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government would launch and anti-corruption drive and major corruption would be eliminated in 90 days.

He said an Accountability Cell would be setup in KP that would not be under the control of the government.

Talking to Dunya News Imran Khan said, the budget presented by federal government would not solve the problems faced by the people.

“This budget will bring nothing but a new wave of inflation and it will be difficult for the common man to make both ends meet in the coming days.

He said police culture in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would be changed through good governance.

KP police has no modern equipment and facilities, he said; adding there is no coordination between different law enforcement agencies in the province.

“How can such an ill-equipped police combat the terrorists,” he questioned.

Imran stressed that a comprehensive policy was required to eliminate the menace of terrorism.

“Terrorism is a complicated phenomenon having multiple causes,” he said.
