48 cops, others reshuffled to change thana culture

KOHAT: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf provincial led government after coming into power in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had promised people that government would bring drastic changes in thana culture as 48 police personnel including SHOs, clerks and traffic police in-charges were transferred on Friday in Kohat after the order issued by IG KP Police Ihsan Ghani. 

Police sources said the transfer of police personnel was made possible when the provincial government of PTI had issued directives regarding it. 
DPO Kohat, Dilawar Bangesh, ordered the transfer of SHOs, clerks and police cops from their local police stations to other areas as SHO Shah Dawran of Bali Tang police station was transferred to Astarzai station and SHO Atiq Hussain was shifted to Bali Tang station from police line.
However, several traffic police personnel, clerks and police men were shifted to different police stations and the transferred personnel took charge of their positions and started performing duties, police sources informed. 

It is to be mentioned here that not only in Kohat while in other districts of KP, the transfer of police personnel was made after the directions issued by provincial government of PTI
