The State Police Complaints Authority (SPCA) has issued notices to three police inspectors and two sub inspectors attached to Panaji, Calangute and Maina Curtorim police stations to file their replies, for not acting on the complaints filed by the complainants, who have approached SPCA.

Joe Martins, a resident of Caranzalem, has approached the SPCA against Panaji PI Rajendra Prabhusessai and PSI Diago Gracias for not acting on the complaint filed by him.

Martins, in his complaint before SPCA, said that he had lodged a missing complaint at Panaji police station. He said that documents were missing from his car which was parked in a parking lot at Tonca. He said Gracias refused to entertain the complaint and on the contrary, remarked on the complaint calling upon Martins to produce the ownership documents of the car which were stolen from the same car.

Shirodkar approached the SPCA against Rane for not stopping the work to erect a bus bay at Calangute as no legal permission was granted by any authority concerned. He also said that he had filed the complaints against those involved in the erecting bus bay, but Rane did not act. He also said Rane came to him along with three constables and asked the constables to pick him up and threatened to arrest him.

In a third complaint, Armando Dias of Curtorim approached the SPCA against Maina Curtorim PI Gurudas Kadam and PSI Ratnakar Naik for not taking cognizance of his complaint of wrongful restraint, theft, abusing with filthy language, assault and threatening with dire consequence.
